The Story
The Trevi Fountain is the largest Baroque fountain in Rome and one of the most famous fountains in the world. Standing 26 meters high and 49 meters wide, it was the culmination of Rome's aqueduct system, fed by the Virgin Aqueduct that dates back to 19 BC. The fountain was designed by architect Nicola Salvi and completed in 1762.
